The picture looks quite intense but I'm taking it myself and you try looking moody in a busy street, when people are looking at you as if you’re insane! Which I am anyways.
I've been out here all week writing away and sharpening my pencil, crafting my couplets, if you'll pardon the expression! It’s hard work out here, there is a heat wave over the South and it’s in the mid 90's and getting warmer. It’s not humid so it’s not repressive, but it is blistering for a Scots lad! I’ve been working with some great people and hopefully it won’t be too long before you hear what I’ve been up to.
I’m excited doing all this stuff and it is a learning curve for me. In Wet land we tend to take our time when we write songs for ourselves, (I know you don’t need me to tell you that!) but out here that does not apply at all, sometimes you write 2 a day, that’s the norm!!!
So I was thinking ‘bout y'all and thought I'd drop a wee line to let you know what’s happening - we ain’t forgot bout yi, so..........
