    I would like the PM's that you recieve to have a popup window so you know you have got mail, because i just realised i had a  few from yesteday that i didn't reply too.Huh?

    Yes, Pauline, I agree. Was just thinking the same myself a little earlier. I found a pop-up box alerting me to new message a very useful feature on the previous forum. Plus there was also a number next to the PM link at the top telling you how many unread messages there were.

    Puzzled why PMs I have sent to others seem to show up in my inbox though ??

    Is it just a dream?, or am I just a dreamer.

    I know Jo, it is very confusing sometimes i think i am posting on a thread when in actual fact its PM, or vs versaHuh?

    I never thought about this one, I still haven't found where pm's are.  Big Smile

    Takes a bit of getting used to when the furniture has been moved around, think I am slowly getting the hang of it though.  Big Smile

    Ahh, I see how the PMs are working now. It's like having your own personal private forum where an original item has it's own individual thread & all related replies in the one. That's quite a neat idea that, rather different from the standard inbox / outbox PM style but I like how it keeps them together.

    I'd still like some sort of notification of new PMs though other than just via email, if that is possible within this new forum.

    My registered email is my home email, thus if I'm on here during the day from work (err, nobody heard me say that right !Embarrassed) I wouldn't know about it till I got home at night. However, if there was some way of having a pop up alert option available for a new arrival that would be much more convenient that going in & out of the PMs waiting on a reply.

    I don't know if this was already implemented when I mentioned it earlier & I missed it but pleased to see that the inbox link does indeed get a number beside it if there are any unread PMs waiting for you, that's good.Smile

    Yes, I've just noticed that there is a number by 'Inbox' at the top of the page if you have any PMs...must remember to check it.  Wink

    Whenever you have new unread PMs, you should see a number beside "Inbox" on the top right corner. 
    We'll work on getting a notification for you. I'll let you know when it's up.

    PM notifications should be up and running. When you have get sent a new message, you'll get a popup when you refresh a page within the forums.

    If it's not working for anyone, let me know.

    I've been trying to send a PM to someone  on here, but in there profile page there is no link to sending PMConfused

    If you click on 'Bio' in a member's profile, you will see 'Send ........... a private message' but I agree that it would be better if there was a link on the profile page.
