    Witches of Eastwick

    Hi All,

Apparently this will be touring in 2008 with Marti!!! Saw it on the whatsonstage website, been a rumour for a couple of months and now seems to be more likely!

Sorry, if not clear it's a musical! Was in the west end years ago with Ian McShane, there's also a film of it with Jack Nicholson

    Re: Witches of Eastwick

The Witches of Eastwick tells the bizarre story of three single women and the effect a devilish male character, has on their lives and, furthermore, the lives of the people of Eastwick itself. With a host of great songs and special effects. You`ll want to sell your soul to see this wickedly funny musical comedy!

This show contains items of an adult nature which, although relevant in context, may cause offence to those of a sensitive nature.

That's a rough PR exercise of what the musical is about - now who is going to be the Devlish male!! Mmmmm

I can't see where it says anywhere on the net though that Marti is going to be in it - so we'll have to watch this space.

Come tell me all about it!

"Show is touring second half of 2008 starring Marti Pellow".

As he's a Newbie on there, I think we should wait and see what else filters through, (BUT he could be right)

    Re: Witches of Eastwick

Just found this about the amateur touring version of Witches..

    "CURRENTLY RESTRICTED
    The Witches of Eastwick is
currently unavailable for performance, owing to
    plans for a professional
    UK tour of the show"

    Ha, NOW it's getting interesting

He did say in the Woburn interview with Curtis Stigers he fancied doing some Musical theatre next, so perhaps that was a hint, time will tell, I won't get excited till it is confirmed.

I hope it's true. I loved him doing Chicago so it would be fantastic if he is going to do this.

    Re: Witches of Eastwick

I'm liking the sound of all this!!

Where do I sign up for one of the female roles??

Linsey, Nic and I have spoken about living like the Witches of Eastwick with Marti quite a few times, we would be happy with that situation!!! LOL

    Re: Witches of Eastwick

I hope he does do something musical - I work right next to the Theatre Royal in Newcastle and might just happen to bump into him . I once saw Jonathan Wilkes, when I was supposed to be looking for a file, when he was doing Godspell a number of years ago. Now that was a treat!
