Re: MP 3/Ipod
All i can say is the bigger the better, cos i bought my 30g and now i wish i'd saved a little more for an 80g. But there are some great deals for xmas...in currys/dixons you can get a 4g mp3 player for £34 if i remember correctly, that'll hold the whole wets collection and possibly more...if you need more than that!!!
She's all alone, now that's a crime....

Re: MP 3/Ipod
MrsMarti Did you get an actual iPod? If so, you plug one end of the cable into a USB port on your computer. These ports maybe at the back, side or front of the computer base unit. You then plug the other end into the iPod. Cheers Karl

Re: MP 3/Ipod
Is Heaven definately on the actual CD? It will help if you let us know what MP3 player you got - as different players have different ways of managing and transferring the tracks from a PC. If you got an Apple iPod, then I assume you used iTunes to import the CDs and then transfer from iTunes to the iPod. If so, was "Heaven" selected (with a little tick by the track name) when you went to transfer the tracks?

Heaven isn't joined on to the end of the previous track, is it? I think someone did say that there was something like that on one of the CDs but I can't remember which one.

Re: MP 3/Ipod
I, myself, can't confirm if Heaven is joined to another track as I don't have my Glasgow CD yet MrsMarti After you have confirmed if Heaven is joined to another track or not (best way to do this is listen to the CD on a normal CD player and see if the track number changes at all when Heaven starts), I would recommend removing the whole of the Glasgow show from the MP3 player, go and name the individual tracks for the CD and then transfer again. That way you should know that they are all there. Karl

Re: MP 3/Ipod
MrsMarti Finally got my Glasgow CD this week and I can confirm that Heaven is not joined onto another track and is its own track. However, on the same CD, Sweet Little Mystery and Run are joined together, so they show as just one track. Karl

Re: MP 3/Ipod
Some MP3 players mess the songs up - especially Sony ones. My Timeless album went on backwards (so number one was "What Do You Know" and "Run" was the last song) and also merged into Popped in Souled Out so its one big album (which I left as it was and renamed Popped in Timed Out) I don't know why they do it but it is very annoying. Once you have put them on your mp3 you should be able to jiggle them about with the software that came with it.
Kx ...get a grip with a new fixation...

Re: MP 3/Ipod
MrsMarti Try charging the MP3 player up for a good two or three hours and then try switching it on. Let us know how you get on Cheers Karl
