This is great!  I love Something for the Weekend.  And the stars who are on the show are around for the whole show, so we should get to see quite a bit of Mr P Stick out tongue .

It now says on the News page that it's GC & Marti on this show talking about Weightless and Timeless. Its a good idea to try to boost the sales of Timeless now, I thinkSmile

I had wondered if it'd be Marti talking about Sentmental Me, but with the success of Weightless, he now has 2 lots of promotion to do! Two good reasons to be very busyBig Smile

Oh, good - I did notice that they had two members of The Feeling on last week, actually, so I did wonder.

I've moved this thread from the Chit Chat forum as this is now on the News page:

This Sunday morning (17th February) will see Graeme and Marti appearing on the BBC 2 cooking & lifestyle programme "Something For The Weekend". Be sure to tune in from 10am when the guys will be live on air for the entirety of the show to chat about their recent bout of chart success with the single "Weightless" as well as the album Timeless. aggbug

It wil make the programme even more interesting - because I don't know why - I can't imagine Graeme cooking - wonder if he'll have to tie his hair up - or even worse - wear one of those mesh hats.  I'd have had him down as a beans on toast guy!! (Don't ask me why - suppose it's something we've never heard him talk about).

Come tell me all about it!

I would imagine Graeme will have his hair back for hygine purpose, but this will be well funny. Can't wait now Marti and Graeme cooking that will be fun. I'm bit naughty should not be peeping on the forum. I just realised  I had left myself logged in from this morning yikes. I best go now!

A funny little story about Ready Steady Cook....

It was years ago and we were all in Marti's chatroom the Mardi Bar when talking about how great it would be to have Marti on that programm because Marti had been in the chatroom telling us how he loves to cook.

Well my english was not that great back then and I said....

I would love to see Marti on Ready Steady Co*k  ( a word this forum won't let me put on lol), I didn't realise what I just put on and I think Laureen almost choked on something, they all were laughing their heads off SurpriseEmbarrassed .  Luckily my english had gotten much better over the years hehe Big Smile .

I remember that well Wil, it was so funny, we had some great laughs in that chat room.  Big Smile  I remember you used to come out with a lot of other innocent little quips too, but it didn't take long before you were speaking better English than lots of us.  Big Smile
