    Hi All

Just checked the the TV times and shows that Marti as been invited into the studio by Tim Lovejoy and Amanda Hamilton to enjoy a Sunday Lunch prepared by Simon Rimmer, doesn't state Graeme is on but he must be but just shows Marti's name.  True Sue with Marti being Veggie he might have a fried Egg Sandwich.

Anyway I best go to bed, as I won't be up in time and miss it all nite nite.

    Love

    Karen-Marie xx

From what I have seen of last week's show, chef Simon Rimmer basically does the cooking and the guests might be asked to chop or stir something.  Wink

    Sunday 17 February

This week Simon makes a punchy Thai-style starter, a comforting veggie main, a teatime treat and a mackerel salad. The week's guests are writer and broadcaster Simon Reeve and Wet Wet Wet singers Marti Pellow and Graeme Clark.

    Sunday 17 February

This week Simon cooks winter comfort food, with a hearty vegetarian main dish and a British teatime treat - what better way to enjoy a brew than with a slice of Tea loaf made using a spot of Earl Grey? Andy Pearson continues the 'Best of British' theme with a cocktail made from Yorkshire's seasonal rhubarb.

As the news page says GC & Marti will be on throughout the show, I was hoping they'd have time to talk about Sentimental me & WOE as well as Weightless & Timeless, but from what you say Debbie, there may not be time for all that. Well, we'll soon find out!Smile

Marti will surely have to try the Cucumber Martini (assuming it has no alcohol in) as its name is obviously personalised to him!!Big Smile

    You're really too muuuuuccchhhhh!!

That root vegetable and goats cheese hash sounds good. If the guys don't get to cook on the show I could do with a hand later if they're free...?

Only 32mins to go! Big Smile

    Hi All

Marti and Graeme have been on to cook, and Marti bit into the Tea Loaf. Trust Marti to be so naughty! There should be more to come before it finishes.

I did notice how uncomfortable Marti was at the line of questioning regarding Amy Winehouse/drugs in music industry. Think he knew where it was going and even tried to put him off. Marti was spot on to answer in the way he did - Amy is a totally separate case from anyone else, how is Marti qualified to answer a question on someone he doesn't know! GC said it best when he was explaining that there are drugs in every walk of life!

It was nice the way that Graeme took over answering that question for Marti, as Marti was definitely uncomfortable then

Yeah I think it was a bit out of order to put Marti in that position - it was pure obvious to be that's where Tim Lovejoy was going as well.
