Absolutely bloomin' FANTASTIC. Thanks to everyone who texted me - the phone went mental - and so did I!!
I loved the interview with Fearne Cotton - she was, I'm sure, genuinely excited - and she really mounted the tension for us (it was quiet in the pub and I managed to listen to quite a bit in the end), and the excitement she showed, and build up she gave was brilliant coming from a younger presenter. Thoroughly enjoyed the interview with the Love Lord!!
What a marvelous achievement - Top 10 - highest new entry - all totally 100% down to the band and their staff alone. It is a great acheivement on all your parts - you're four places higher than All I Want - which had the record company backing you - and the 'comeback' publicity, but you must feel a million times more satisfied to know you have done this all on your own, the writing, the publicity, the production, the recording, the mixing, the label, the new technology (and even your fans have learnt new things on the way on that score), so give yourselves a huge pat on the back, make the grins you should have on your faces last throughout 2008 - and CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL.
Now looking forward to the secret slipping on any summer concerts. Bring it on.
