    Dean Johnson supporting David Essex

I went to see David Essex last night with my Mum in York and was surprised to find that Dean Johnson was the support act. Big Smile He played a few songs from his new album. It was nice to hear him again and my Mum enjoyed him too. I thought he might have mentioned the Wets but he didn't. Dean also signed copies of his new album during the interval.

Janet, any idea the name of Dean's album?

I've got two of them, and think he's a fantastic songwriter, so am always on the look out for more of his stuff

I can't remember sorry. I will try and find out for you. The new songs are good with great lyrics. He has written a lovely song about his grandson Reggie. Big Smile

Thanx Janet, I'll need to get a hold of that.

The two I have btw, are "Multi Stories", which was produced by some bloke  called Graeme Clark!!  on which the sleeve notes say "Special Thanks To CHRIS DIFFORD, DOUGIE (Souness), SANDY & JIM and THE BRILL BUILDING BOYS (at The WETS former recording studios), and GRAEME DUFFIN..lastly it says, "To the Wets thanks for the help from my friends"

The musicians on this album include Graeme Clark, Neil "The Wiz" Mitchell, Graeme Duffin and Marti Pellow.

This really IS some album, (one of my all time faves), my favourite track being "Time To Heal"

The other Cd is called "Soul System", the musicians on this one ALSO include Clark, Mitchell, Duffin and Pellow.

    Some line up eh?
