    George Michael Gig

    Hi Guys

Just to say i was at the George Michael gig out here in Phoenix last night and he was fantastic (not as good as Wets of course)  Really good set, first time i've seen him live and was impressed.  If any of you like him and get the chance i'd recommend it!

    Lynn

PS We travelled in style in a limo another 1st for me, love to do it again for a Marti/Wets gig.

Went to see George last year at Hampden Park in Glasgow. He was fantastic and would love to see him again some time.Only thing that was missins was a bit of banter with the audience. So used to gretting that with our boys. Diane x x

I was at Hampden and thought exactly the same Diane - as did my parents! Just too used to the fantastic nights the boys treat us to!

My auntie and I are going down to see him at Earls Court in August - should be quite a show.

Hi just to let you know i have been lucky enough to see George twice i saw him 15 years ago at his listen without predujice tour ,then i was lucky enough to get tickets last year he was good 15 years ago and even better last year. I am a massive fan of his, i just wish i could have seen him in concert back in the Wham days, unfortunatly i was too young and my mum wouldn't take me to see him in concert, i used to have wham posters all over my bedroom wall. Then along came Wet Wet Wet and the george posters had to go to make room for Marti!!!LOL my fella won't let me put posters on the bedroom wall,i am lucky  enough to just have my Marti calendar up in the kitchen! My daughter even points to marti and says "Daddy".Oh if only it was!xxxxxxxx  Stick out tongue

Snap!! I use to have Wham posters all over my bedroom walls and was desperate to go and see Wham in concert but I wasn't allowed as I was too young! Sad

I have seen George Michael 3 times, back in 1990, 2006 and 2007. I am also going to Earls Court in August. I think he is "Amazing"! Second in line behind the Wets of course. Big Smile

I would love to see him live. He is always on one of my iPod playlists. If you liked Marti's Sentimental Me album, i would reccomend his Songs Of The Last Century advert. Its a red and black one if your eyes are looking for it in HMV!!! Brother Can You Spare A Dime is a good one on that.

Last night I went to the final Earls Court concert. What a great night! Big Smile Party!!! That guy is "Amazing" as the song says. If you ever get the opportunity to see George Michael live grab it with both hands as you won't be disappointed! Smile

    What a legend!

    Re: George Michael Gig

Glyn and I went to see George in December 06.  He was amazing. Started off at the back of Wembley and ended up in the 10th row among the celebs!  One of the best concerts we've ever been to.  I couldn't talk afterwards, wore my voice out singing all night! I hope the Earls Court shows this weekend weren't the last as he's said because I'd love to see him again.  I met him at the Albert Hall in 1985.  He was watching David Cassidy in concert and I went up and got his autograph.  Nice bloke.
