Re: Favourite Tropical Paradise & Exotic
Hi Caz Cuba as been my favourite country ever visited. Although Hurricane Katrina were happening @ that time when Cuba got it first but it weren't half as bad, as New Orleans, because Miami got ot the same night as Cuba got it in the day. It as not put me off for going there in the Hurricane season. It were scarey as were stuck in the lobby after changing up a travellers cheque, and the Hotel room were on the outside. The Hurricane just started and went on for a while, and thought the building were going to collapse. The day we landed were warned that Hurricane Katrina were on the way, I were a bit worried but had to wait to see if the weather forcast were correct or not. They were certainly correct! But I did enjoy the holiday way above 100 each day, fab food we went all inclusive. We had a chance to fly to Havana on light aircraft from the Cayo's, but didn't want chance it because risk of bad weather if there were to be a Hurricane on the way. Basically its a hideaway place in a lovely paradise place where u can relax. My other Exotic Holiday as to be Greece when I went to a very small Island called Aghia if the spelling is correct. Of course had tp fly to Athens before going onto Aghia by ferry. But very close again to tradgey there were a an earthqauke 8 weeks after going to Greece in Athens. I can't remember to how bad the earthquake were. These are 2 countries I love the most still. Feurteventura 60 miles from North Africa that holiday were brilliant and had a camel ride there. But Greece and Cuba were the best. I will love to do the Red Sea next. I were suppose to go last year but due to family commitments never booked it. What other countries have visited? I also done New York! Love Karen-Marie www.thewetswebsite.piczo.com

Re: Favourite Tropical Paradise & Exotic
Hi Karen-Marie, I have also visited Turkey, What a lovley place i didn't like Marmaris as much as Ichmeler, Marmaris is too busy for me,now ichmeler is simply gorgeous i went a few years ago just for a week me and my partner. We booked to stay in the Marti la Perla but when we arrived they had moved us to a different hotel because that one was closing early for refurbishment.I couldn't believe my ears when they said that it was called The Marti !!! What a coincidence if any.It was lovley very romantic. I have since tried to book another holiday to stay in The Marti but it always comes out too expensive. I have been to Lanzarote several times, i have seen the whole island.I love going to see the volcanoes.I too have been on a camel ride up the volcano. I visited Cyprus once stayed in protarus,it was a nice place and the beaches were lovley but the hotel was like a high rise block of flats i hated it,if i ever go to cyprus again i will visit a different part of the island.

If the sun is shining, then out back of my house is the best place sat looking over fields, there's a little river running by the bottom of our field, my 2 horses lazing around in the field, my 2 dogs running around like nutters like they do, kids playing and having a laugh, ths sound of laughter is just the best thing, enioying a drink and barbeque, then lighting the chiminera watching the sunset over the trees at the bottom of the field is my favourite place (not tropical mind, but it beats it all )

Hi Ruth I think I will come urs hun ha ha. Sounds like a very nice scenery. We have all greenery and fields and the woods 10 mins away. Sounds of the flaming chickens every flipping morning is no joke, then Benji my dog goes mad. Start hearing the chickens around 4.30 TO 5am. But urs sounds better though than mine also don't live far from the cows and sheeps, but closer to the chickens though. Also hear the long distance trains pass through the night when its really quite. I'd rather be abroad, when I sunbathe in the back garden the flipping chickens noisey. But urs sounds beautiful in the lovely Yorkshire Dales, than the countryside of Milton Keynes. I better go have work in the morning, take care Ruth hope to c u around sometime. www.thewetswebsite.piczo.com Love Karenxx
