STV: Wet Wet Wet on the Five Thirty Show on Friday 8th February!

This has just appeared on the front page:

Tune into Scottish Television tomorrow evening (Friday 8th February) at 5.30pm when Graeme and Marti will be on the Five Thirty Show. They will perform an acoustic version of ‘Weightless’ as well as having a chat with the presenters about the new single.

Scottish Television is available on Sky but, for those of us without Sky, you can either watch the whole show on the STV website for up to 7 days after broadcast at http://www.stv.tv/content/tv/thefivethirtyshow/theshow/, or they do put some of the performances and interviews on the website at http://www.stv.tv/content/tv/thefivethirtyshow/theexclusives/.  They are available to watch for 7 days on the STV website and you can download them if you have the latest version of RealPlayer.

Jules posted this in a previous thread about how to watch STV via Sky:

You can actually tune this channel in if you have Sky . It's a bit fiddley but worth it if you can then watch this programme.
    1) Press "Services" on your Sky Remote and a list of 8 or 9 selections will appear.
    2) Press "4" or scroll down to highlight selection number 4 which is "Add Channels". Another menu will appear displaying Frequency, Polarization, Symbol Rate and FEC.
    3) Change the Frequency by tapping in the five numbers 10906.
    4) Change the Polarization to "V" using your left or right curser on your remote control.
    5) Change the Symbol Rate to 22.0 using your left or right curser on your remote control.
    6) Change the FEC number to display 5/6 using your left or right curser on your remote control.
    7) Move your curser to highlight "Find Channels" at the bottom of the menu and press "Select".
    8) You will now see a list of available channels including STV. Simply highlight STV and press the yellow button. A tick will now appear next to STV.  Press "Select" again to store STV.
    9) Press "Back Up" several times to come out of all the menus until you get your Sky picture again.
    10) Whenever you wish to watch STV in the future simply press "Services" on your remote control which will bring up the menu. Press "9" or scroll down to highlight selection 9 which is "Other Channels" and you will then be able to highlight STV and press "Select" to watch.

Sounds complicated but it's simple and will take you less than 2 minutes. Well worth it!

The only drawback is you won't be able to record it unless you can do so on an external recorder , it won't record on Sky plus.

Not sure what channel that is on - am at work at the minute so can't really check.  No doubt someone will let us know.  All the more publicity for the Top 10.

Sorry Debbie - I've duplicated your post - I hadn't seen it in the official news - I have to sneak on and off here really quickly in the day.  I was also just going to say - tomorrow is Friday the 8th!!  Best set the video recorder anyway.

    Re: NEW T.V. DATE

No worries, Helen - I merged your post into the thread that I had started so that we don't end up with two discussion threads about the same thing.  Wink

There are some performances and interviews from the show on the STV website which you can download if you have the latest version of RealPlayer.  I don't know if the Wets will be on there but let's hope so.  Wink
