After it went to penalties, they go to manchester on may the 14th!

Even as a Celtic fan, I must congratulate Rangers, on makin' it all the way to the EUFA Cup Final.

Go on, make ALL of Scotland proud, in the final!

Oh Btw, congrats also to Man Utd, and Chelsea for BOTH gettin' to this years Champions League Final. May the best team win..

 However i can't support them in the Scottish Cup final as I'll be supporitng the mighty Queen of the South!!

Well I've posted my feelings on GC thread. What an amazing achievement for an amazing club.

 I have to disagree about Man Utd and Chelsea getting to the final. It's a bit of an oxymoron to be honest and isn't helping European football.

I was wondering how many forum wet mates

will be holding their own wee Gers party's on Wed night?

My family will be getting together for this big night and enjoying the game together.

I think i will be opening a few drinks tonight towatch the game. I hope the go all out for a win as it will be a hard game for them as it is with out them sitting back to defend. I think they will pull it out the bag, somehow even if it is a really boring and poor game. Good luck to them and i hope my drinks are than of celebration tonigh and not of dsrowning any sorrows!!!!

Shame that the fans couldn't behave themselves. Don't remember this happening when another Scottish team lost a final a few years ago.

Yeah I have to agree with you too Kaz.  What a disgrace. 

Gotta to agree with you girls. On the Sky News website, the day after The Battle of Manchester", there were over 400 hundred pages, Yes FOUR HUNDRED pages of comments from all around the world, about this.

Most of the comments, from English based people were very derogatory towards us Scots, and made out that we were ALL thugs!

Many Scots, (and Irish people) retaliated by reminding those racists that it was only a minority that caused the trouble, and not all of those were Scotland based.

Probably the worst comment I read on there was this, "CELTIC must now be barred from Europe for three years, at least"..

Why, I ask myself? Sour grapes maybe?

After all, 80,000 Celtic Fans went to the Eufa Cup Final, in 2004.. creating history!!.. and NOT ONE Celtic fan caused ANY trouble, or was arrested, in fact as most now know a trophy was presented to Celtic Football Club, by FIFA (the world governing body of football associations) as a reward for having the BEST FANS IN THE WORLD.

As a follow up to the trouble in Manchester, I'm very pleased to say that the chairman of Rangers Football Club has already publicly stated that steps are already being taken to ban the thugs involved from Ibrox (the home ground of Rangers), on a sine'-die (permanent) basis.

Got to applaud that guy, for his courageous actions

Losing the Cup was a pity but we were beaten by the better team.

A shame that there were fans who could not behve themselves. Being down in the south of England, despite being proud to support rangers, i am embarassed by what had happens and fear that i may be tarred by the same brush.

 It's also a shame for united fans that they will not be showing the Man U game on big goggle boxes now after this for thier game with Chelsea.
