    I was really sad to here he died earlier today,  its a really sad day for Celtic & Rangers fan todaySadSad

    I also was sad to hear of Tommy's passing.

    I've called him many names over the years as both player and manager but he was one Celtic man that I did think was a gentleman.

    Aye, another GENTLEMAN, has gone "up the road" to join the other recent Scottish footballing legends, (Jimmy Johnstone, Phil O'Donnell & Davie Cooper), that have gone far, FAR too early, to the big stadium in the sky.

    My hubby went down to Celtic Park today to leave a scarf, he said there was loads of people there he said it was just as busy as a match day, he & his friend had leave there car at about half mile from the stadium, he said it was very like when Princess Di died the amout of flowers, scarfs, & football tops was unreal.Sad

    He is an absolute legend and on the occasions I was lucky enough to meet him he was the nicest person.

     My thoughts are with his family.

    My hubby met him when he was about 11/12 & Tommy gave him his celtic tie, he said he was a lovely manSmile
